Aims and Objectives

The course Breizh Bot Regatta will allow you to understand the key aspects of marine robotics. By the end of this course, you will know the basics about how to remotely operate a marine craft.

Description of Course and Topic

This course will introduce you to the field of marine robotics, covering the key areas of autonomous robotic mission, control, and sensors (acoustic, magnetic). Led by experts, it includes lectures, hands-on Python coding, and piloting of marine robots. The course includes practical work such as a field lab, and a final lake challenge, where participants will be able to showcase their skills. With basic Python knowledge, the participants learn to navigate boats and other types of robots autonomously and understand marine tech better.
